It’s official, Escape the Village is proudly continuing show sponsorship for the Dauntsey Festival of Transport & Country Show for the third consecutive year, taking our partnership right through to 2026!
Our relationship with the festival began in the most grassroots way possible, as volunteers. Back in the early days, we joined the team to help with the dog show, lending a hand and soaking up the community spirit that makes the Dauntsey Festival so special. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet local families, exhibitors, and volunteers, and we were instantly hooked.

The following year, festival founder Ali Potter approached us with an unexpected but exciting question: would we consider becoming sponsors? The answer was an easy yes. The festival’s passion for community, local enterprise, and countryside life perfectly mirrors our own values at Escape the Village, supporting rural communities, celebrating local businesses, and helping small organisations thrive.
Since then, our role has continued to evolve alongside the festival’s growth. Today, both Liz and Izzy are proud members of the organising committee, contributing to the event in multiple ways, from marketing strategy to community engagement and digital development.
Our show sponsorship goes well beyond financial support and volunteering. We’ve provided ongoing website development and management, helping the festival to expand its reach and streamline its operations. This year, we introduced a brand-new eCommerce system, allowing the festival to take online bookings and payments, improving cash flow and simplifying processes for both the committee and exhibitors.
On the marketing side, we’ve helped introduce automation and scheduling tools to their social media platforms — giving the team more time to focus on planning the event itself while still keeping followers informed and excited in the run-up to the big weekend.

We’ve also supported the festival’s PR and communications, helping spread the word far and wide about everything from new arena attractions and artisan food courts to charity pitches and volunteer opportunities.
Our partnership with the Dauntsey Festival of Transport is more than a sponsorship, it’s a shared journey built on collaboration, community, and countryside values. Together, we’re helping this much-loved local event grow sustainably, embrace digital tools, and reach new audiences every year.
As the festival continues to expand into 2026, welcoming even more visitors, vehicles, and exhibitors, we’re proud to be part of its story, from those first days running the dog show to becoming an integral part of its future.
Because at Escape the Village, we believe rural events like the Dauntsey Festival of Transport are more than just shows, they’re the heartbeat of our communities. Discover more about the show on their website
