Our marketing podcast was finally born this week!
Along with our great friend and marketing partner in crime from The Donut Pig, Shaun and Liz from Escape the Village recorded the first two episodes of their new podcast this week (28th August). Now available on Spotify, Apple and YouTube each week we will have a fabulous new episode. Every other week we will introduce an amazing guest to discuss their marketing journey, challenges and successes. There were some very weird name ideas along the way before we settled on The Village Pig finally lol. Some we should probably not share but ideas included:
- Battle Tested Marketing
- The Marketing Muster
- Marketing Petrol (this reminded Liz too much of Paw Petrol)
- Marketing Mindset
Why The Village pig?
Well Village is the last word is our name and pig the last name in Shaun’s marketing consultancy! Its cheeky, fun and both our backgrounds and businesses are included. Some of the other names were more based our on join military backgrounds but we actually met through networking online with Circle Networks and hosting our own networking groups called the Military Circle aimed at business owners with a military connection in some way!
